We currently have a unique opportunity for a Registered Nurse to provide nursing services as part of a small Nurse led care team to a tetraplegic business man.
Due to the nature of this position the appointee will be male and this vacancy is exempt from the Sex Discrimination Act. The role is carried out on a one-to-one basis and takes place within the client’s home and on an international level with the client directing his own care.
With full training being provided, the role is predominantly night shift-based, but from time to time day shift will be required and flexibility is required. You should be clinically credible, with a working knowledge of the ageing process and the challenges this presents and also possess a good insight into the needs of a tetraplegic, supporting and acting as a role model will be important.
Being physically fit and active are essential attributes as well as being able to deal with sensitive information, so an adaptive professional approach is key. Keen to join an established care team with outstanding standards and areas of expertise, you will bring your own skills, knowledge and expertise. The role requires a warm and welcoming personality, good communication skills and a flexible and balanced approach.

An excellent salary of £35K - £38K per annum is offered dependent on experience, plus a comprehensive package including Pension Scheme, Private Medical Insurance, Life Assurance, and Travel Club.
The post is based in Oxfordshire and a relocation package can be offered depending on current location.
