Austin Dean Recruitment is actually recruiting for our prestigious client a permanent Clinical Psychologist in Full-Time. The vacancy is located in Southampton.Our client is a longstanding provider of both private healthcare and services in partnership with the NHS, specialized in CAMHS ward.The clinical psychologist identifies and delivers appropriate and relevant treatments and interbventions within the given field of therapy, in order to promote and develop the mental, emotional, physical and social well-being of the young people using the CAMHs service, including liaising with family and carers.Main duties:- Receives and responds promptly to referrals undertaking specialist assessments to determine and plan an effective therapy programme for assigned young people using appropriate and relevant treatments and activities which include group and individual interventions.- Facilitates individual and group therapy sessions ensuring activities and interventions continue to meet the needs of the young people and are consistent with the provisions detailed in the young persons therapy plan.- Manages an assigned caseload within agreed timescales ensuring regular interaction and communication with young people, carers, family members, professional colleagues and clinical staff.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records concerning young people and to be able to give a psychological perspective with professional and clinical colleagues.- Leads and co-ordinates professional and clinical colleagues, providing psychotherapeutic advice and guidance.- Identifies, evaluates and implements new and improved methods, techniques and interventions based upon best practice and evidence based research.To be considered for this role, you must have a Master degree as a minimum and your HCPC registration.An experience in working within similar service is desirable.Starting as soon as possible.Apply now
